What exactly does ReferralWorks do for my firm?

We run the entire process of finding, reaching out to, and building relationships with referral partners on your behalf, so your firm shows up to real conversations without doing any of the outreach yourselves. That includes identifying the right partner categories in your market, sourcing verified contact data, writing and running email and LinkedIn outreach in your firm's voice, booking introductory calls directly on your calendar, and managing the ongoing nurture so relationships stay warm over time. You show up to the meetings. We handle everything that gets you there.

What does a typical week or month look like once we start working together?

In a given month, your firm can expect to see a steady stream of new introductory conversations landing on your calendar, along with visibility into every partner relationship currently being built. You will get a notification before each meeting with context on who you are meeting and what they responded to, a simple way to tell us how each meeting went afterward, and a weekly summary showing new activity, upcoming meetings, and anything that needs your attention. Outside of the meetings themselves, this runs in the background without requiring your time.

Do I need any special software or technical setup on my end?

No. Everything runs on our infrastructure. You do not need to buy any tools, manage any email accounts, or learn any new systems. If you want visibility into what is happening, you will have access to a simple dashboard, but there is nothing required for you to install, configure, or maintain.

What is the actual deliverable? What am I paying for?

You are paying for real conversations and real relationships with the professionals in your market who consistently encounter injury clients, chiropractors, other attorneys, medical providers, and more. The deliverable is not a list of leads or a piece of software. It is a growing network of referral relationships built specifically for your firm, managed and nurtured over time, with meetings landing on your calendar throughout the engagement.

How do you find the right referral partners for my specific market?

We start by mapping every relevant partner category in your specific geography, chiropractors, tow companies, non-PI attorneys, medical providers, insurance agents, and others depending on your market. We pull verified contact data from multiple sources, not just a basic list, and prioritize the categories and contacts most likely to produce results based on what we have seen work in similar markets. This is not generic outreach. It is built around your specific city, your specific competitive landscape, and your specific practice areas.

How much of my time does this actually require?

Very little. Most of your time investment is showing up to the meetings we book. You will get a brief pre-meeting summary so you walk in with context, and a simple way to tell us how it went afterward, which takes under a minute. Outside of that, the outreach, the data work, and the ongoing nurture all happen without needing anything from you.

What happens if a referral partner responds but it is not actually a good fit?

Not every conversation turns into a strong relationship, and that is expected. We track every response and every meeting, and you tell us honestly whether a contact felt like a strong fit, a potential long-term relationship, or not a match. That information shapes how we prioritize follow-up, so our time and yours goes toward the relationships most likely to actually produce.

Can't I just do this myself with a tool like GoHighLevel or a legal CRM?

Those tools give you a place to store contacts. They do not know who to contact, what to say, when to follow up, or what a healthy referral relationship looks like in personal injury law specifically. We built the entire methodology, the partner categories, the outreach sequences, the timing, the nurture cadence, from years of running this at scale across real firms. A CRM is an empty container. What we provide is a complete system that already knows how this works.

Is my data and relationship information kept private?

Yes. We never share your specific partner contacts, relationship details, or firm-identifiable information with any other client or outside party. We do use aggregated, anonymized patterns, such as which partner categories tend to perform well in certain types of markets, to continually improve outreach quality across our client base and any platform tools we offer. This aggregate data is structured so it cannot be traced back to any individual firm's specific relationships or results. Your firm's data is yours. The system gets smarter over time without ever exposing what belongs to you.

Do you work with more than one firm in the same city?

By default, yes, but we want to be transparent about exactly how that works and why it is not the risk it might sound like at first. The contact data we use, the chiropractors, tow companies, attorneys, and other professionals in your market, is publicly available information. Anyone can find these same businesses through a Google search or LinkedIn. We cannot claim ownership over who exists in your market, and no referral outreach company honestly can. What we own is the relationship, the outreach approach, the timing, the messaging, and the ongoing nurture, none of which is generic or interchangeable between firms. Two firms reaching out to the same chiropractor will show up completely differently. The relationship a partner builds depends entirely on how that outreach is handled, how consistently it is followed up on, and how the connection actually develops over time. A referral partner chooses who they send cases to based on trust and relationship, not based on who contacted them first. That is genuinely good news for you, because it means the relationship your firm builds through us is not diminished by someone else also reaching out. It stands entirely on its own. That said, we are mindful of competitive overlap and take it seriously. We do not take on an unlimited number of firms in any single market, and we are thoughtful about how many standard-tier clients we bring on in the same metro depending on its size. If protecting your specific market matters to you, we also offer a market exclusive tier where we do not work with any other PI firm in your metro at all. Most firms we work with are comfortable with the standard approach once they understand how it actually works, since the value is in the depth of the relationship being built for their firm specifically, not in blocking competitors from also trying. But if full exclusivity is important to you, that option exists and we are happy to talk through what it looks like for your market.

How long until we see results?

Positive conversations with potential partners typically start within the first 20-30 days. Referred cases take longer, usually three to nine months, because that is how long it takes for real trust to build. Here is what matters most. The opportunity to refer exists every day. Your chiropractor sees injury patients weekly. The tow company you meet responds to accidents regularly. The question is never whether cases exist. It is whether your firm is the one that comes to mind when the moment arrives. That is exactly what we build during those first few months.

Why not just hire someone in-house to do this?

Most firms who try this hire one person and give them a general goal with no data, no system, and no real volume behind it. They burn out in a few weeks with little to show for it, and it still costs $5,000 to $7,000 a month or more before you factor in tools and infrastructure. We bring years of knowing exactly which partner categories work, what messaging gets a response, and how to keep relationships warm over time. If you want to add someone in-house once relationships are established, that works great. Starting from zero yourself is a much harder path.

How is this different from attorney referral software?

Most attorney referral platforms work the same way. Thousands of attorneys sit inside a shared network, competing for the same pool of cases as they come available.
